Bodywork EP comprises of 4 moody Techno outings, exploring the convergence of several significant influences: spacey Detroit Techno, UK Garage, and Bass.
Working under the moniker Autobodies for his first solo EP, UK producer Stoogie Houzer aims to conjure images of a dystopian future in which a thriving sound system culture for battered, rusty hover cars has risen from the remnants of a lost civilisation. Thudding kicks, wallowing low frequencies and moody, melancholic top lines combine to create an atmospheric soundscape in which to lose yourself.
For those post-4am dance floors, or the soundtrack for a road trip through a cold, desolate wasteland.
